Our Company
Murchison Blasting Services was founded in 2000 by Managing Director Bruce Stewart. Early operations commenced at the Woodie Woodie Mine Site in Western Australia, with a small team and an initial fleet of three GD3500’s blasthole drills. MBS has since grown through a steady pipeline of work, now servicing multiple clients with a significant workforce and a fleet of over 30 drill rigs. The MBS fleet includes top hammer, downhole hammer and platform rigs.
MBS has continued to experience significant growth over the years, however the best values of a boutique, family run business still underpin their operating methods. Personal and direct client relationships drive the success of all projects.
Murchison Blasting Service’s operational focus is centred around partnering with clients to provide a service that integrates with their overall business needs. MBS operates as an extension of the the client’s own drill and blast department, with the additional benefits of specialised expertise and flexibility.
